The end of a wonderful year!

Well, it an end to another year, and as I reflect on everything that has happened, I realize how wonderful it has been.  It has gone by so fast!  There were some tough time in there of course, but I have Faith that everything will turn out for the best!
Aaron's dad had a stroke in February, but seems to be recovering well.  He is sticking to his diet, and some of his humor has returned!  Aaron graduated with his Bachelor's in Finance and Economics in May.   He began working at Edward Jones Investments in June.  I couldn't be more proud of all that he has accomplished!  Congratulations, Babe!
The kids have been her for school and I am extremely proud of how well they have all done!  Becca is working hard on her spelling and math, and Lauren is rushing full speed ahead with reading!  Nick has made big strides in Pre-K as well, with writing and with calendars!
I finished my 2nd semester of nursing school, and started at Christian Hospital as a Student Nurse tech!  I am looking forward to going to the floor, and going on to 3rd semester!!
In the coming year our family has some big goals!!! We all made a list on our white board today, which included (but not limited to):

Saying "no"

As a few of you know, I have always had an issue saying no to my family- my mom and brother in particular.  I have lost a few thousand dollars being taken advantage of, stolen from, borrowed from... and then the only time I get a phone call is when they want me to do something else for them.  I am done with this nonsense.  Last year around this time, I lost $500 for a cell phone bill they ran up and didn't pay... then promised to pay back in time for summer tuition.  Here it is a year later, and that summer tuition went on a credit card.  My brother calls, wanting me to wire him money, and when I don't do it, he has my mom call me to ask me to do it.  He's lost his birth certificate 3-4 times in the past two years, and instead of putting it somewhere safe, it's now lost again.  He has no driver's license, and his state ID is cracked so he can't order one with his ID.  I suppose he better grow up and figure it out himself.  He texts to ask for money for various things, and I always say no.  He has never once called Becca, Lauren or Nick to just say hi or even Happy Birthday.  He makes me sick.

An Introduction

Hello!

I suppose that starting a blog has come a little late for me.  You would think that, considering I use email, chat, text, and facebook like I use water, an updated blog is something I would have!

I am a wife, mother, student, sister, daughter.  I love my family more than you could ever imagine... The noise, the quiet, the every day running, the homework, the tears and fun.  I know I will miss it all one day and I will strive to enjoy it while our family is at it's current stage.
I attend nursing school at a local community college, and just completed the 2nd of 4 semesters there.  I cannot believe how quickly the semester went by.... But I guess that will happen when you are also helping three children learn what they need to become well adjusted little humans! I enjoy learning the process of nursing, and I think it's a pretty tough job!! Definitely not for those who get faint with the sight of blood, or pass out with a bad smell!

I know you may be wondering what the title of my blog might mean, so I will give it a whirl.  Every day, people are faced with trying to make decisions that will better their lives, whether personal or professional.  Every day is something new, something that has the potential to change who you are, where you go, and who you become.  Those decisions are not easy to make, and are sometimes not clear.  The pathway that you chose for your life is cloudy.. Hence- "Through the Clouds"
